This is Klaus and his new brother. Klaus came to Valley of the Sun Giant Rescue in Phoenix
because a neighbor found our rescue
group and called. Klaus lived outside all the time and was covered with ticks when he was
picked up. He jumped the fence to go visit anyone he could find. He wasn't neutered but
he was a sweetie and looking for other sweeties. He had been given to his owner by her
boss and she had been out of work for more than a year because of surgeries and illness.
She and her husband had separated but were back together when we picked him up, and Klaus
was use to kids as they had a young boy. When Sally and I visited them, she agreed to give
Klaus up. We looked for sometime for the right home for him, and when this family came
along with three kids along, it was perfect for Klaus. Or a match made in heaven as I have
heard some of us say.
I think the family had just lost a black lab and has a couple of small dogs they rescued.
Others will have to help fill in the story here. I am sure together we can get it all
together.
Klaus spent a little bit of time with Darrel and Marilu Hansen and Klaus fell in love with
Darrel while he was there. Kelli and Steve Kohler had him for awhile as did Terry Tanner.
Everywhere he was, he loved his foster people and they loved him. And thanks to all of you!!!
