Duke turns 2 years old today 1/22/10; Duke is highly intelligent, healthy, loyal, athletic and possessive. Duke loves the water and is an avid swimmer, seagull chaser, and wake jumper and rock diver. He has a silky black coat, and docked tail. He has been with us since he was just nine weeks old.

Duke is used to being around a couple, although he has been in the company of grandchildren and is fine with children. He really has not been around cats nor do we have another dog in the household. However, he does play and swim well with other large breed dogs. He is though, the alpha male, even as a puppy. We have a fenced in acre yard for him to run. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. He has been trained.

I am back to work full-time and unable to give him the life he truly deserves. He is exhibiting stubborn adolescent acting out behavior. Since I’ve gone back to work, he is possessive over trash.
